Teaching Philosophy
At Ms. Lo’s Learning Center we believe each child is a unique individual and with our low ratios we are able to provide different styles and techniques to make learning fun and productive for each child. As an educator I will respect, value, and develop each child’s strengths, abilities, interests and skills to set them up for success. We believe children learn best through meaningful play and we offer a play-based program that has developmentally appropriate curriculum and materials to help young children achieve goals that are meaningful for development.

We believe that education begins with love and focus on building relationships, self-love, and strong character skills. We provide a strong foundation to set your child up for success in kindergarten and beyond.
About Your Teacher
Shelli LoCicero
After working with children for over 20 years in several different settings, my dream of owning my own preschool has come to fruition. I am so excited to offer a home-based preschool that will have a warm, home-like environment while providing education through play, academics and social friendships.
I love the structure and routine that preschool provides, versus a standard daycare setting. One of the most rewarding things about being a teacher is seeing the child’s face light up as they learn a new skill.
Being able to have an impact on children’s lives, being surrounded by so much love and igniting that spark inside of them as they reach new milestones is truly such a fulfillment. We can’t wait to meet your child and have them join our preschool family!
