Did you know that 90% of the child’s brain develops by age 5? Ms. Lo’s Learning center is here to set the foundation for your preschool child and equip them with the skills needed to flourish in kindergarten and beyond. We give them a nurturing experience that will have them excited to learn, inspire imagination and play. We are located in Cathedral City and are proud to serve the Coachella Valley.
Strong Character
Our curriculum focuses on developing preschool students social and emotional skills by nurturing strong relationships through fun and engaging activities. As young children learn these skills it helps them to develop strong self-esteem, confidence and close friendships that will continue to grow as they develop in our preschool program.
Small Class Sizes
All classes will have up to 8 students for optimal learning. There are so many benefits that come with offering small classes which will give our preschool students more individual interactions with their teacher and their peers. This provides a personal relationship that allows us to tailor the lesson plans individually for each child to meet them where they’re at and help them get to where they need to be.
Creative Lessons
We will teach your preschool children age-appropriate lessons, manners and social skills all through creative and purposeful play. When young children develop a love for learning it is something they will carry with them throughout their lives. We truly believe that education begins with love, trust and respect for one another.

After working with children for over 20 years in several different settings, my dream of owning my own preschool has come to fruition. I am so excited to offer a home-based preschool that will have a warm, home-like environment while providing education through play, academics and social friendships.

When you’re at Ms. Lo’s Learning Center, you’re family! We’re located in Cathedral City, very close to Sunny Sands Elementary School. You’ll love our warm, nurturing in-home preschool, and your child will love our 1-on-1 attention with our small class sizes of just 8 students!
We are strictly a preschool (not a daycare) for children ages 3-5 (and independent almost 3-year-olds). We offer MORE THAN just preschool… Not only do we help your child socialize and get ready for kindergarten, we also offer a family-like relationship in a warm, home environment that is comfortable and familiar to your child.

We are the only in-home preschool offering part-time care in the valley so we expect to fill up quickly. Please call as soon as you even think about enrolling so we can see if we have a spot for you.
If we do have a spot, we’ll schedule a tour. We’ll also reserve your child’s spot so you don’t lose it before we meet.
During the tour, we’ll tell you all about us. At the end, we’ll ask: “Would you like your child to come to Ms. Lo’s Learning Center?” If so, that’s when we’ll have you fill out the registration form and we’ll collect the $175 / registration fee and welcome you to our preschool family!

Yes, if you have any questions about whether or not your child is ready feel free to give us a call. We have a potty training guide that has helped many families get their children potty trained successfully.
We believe each child is a unique individual and with our low ratios we are able to provide different styles and techniques to make learning fun and productive for each child.
As an educator I will respect, value, and develop each child’s strengths, abilities, interests and skills to set them up for success. We believe children learn best through meaningful play and we offer a play-based program that has developmentally appropriate curriculum and materials to help young children achieve goals that are meaningful for development.
Yes, we have Be One Mobile Gymnastics arrive twice a month to teach gymnastic classes with the students. This helps them to strengthen their gross motor skills, improves focus, attention span and to follow directions. Classes are $30/month for 2 – 45 minute gymnastics classes taught by a professional gymnastics teacher.
No worries. I’ve had a lot of students have food intolerances or severe allergies. We ask these families to bring in their own snacks and we create nut free classrooms anytime a child’s is severe enough to require an Epi-Pen.
Yes, it is a California licensing law that requires providers to have their immunization records updated and on file.
